My Work

Published Work:

I started school at Temple in Fall 2011. A year later, I decided to take a photography class. Up to this day it is still my favorite class. I had a great teacher and got to take awesome pictures that you can see here (anything with my name on it is mine).

In the summer of 2013, I interned for over two months at the South Philly Review in South Philadelphia. It was a great experience and it was my very first internship. It was particularly special to me because it was my first time being published. I ended up writing two articles for them and my second article made the front page of the newspaper.

After that I applied to work at the Templar Annual Yearbook. I was published in the 2013 yearbook and I am writing for them again this year.

In the Spring of 2014, I became a contributing writer for Global Philadelphia Association. Their mission is, “GPA was created to assist and to encourage greater interaction among the many organizations and people who are engaged in international activity in the Greater Philadelphia Region, to promote the development of an international consciousness within the region, and to enhance the region’s global profile.”

Below you can find the links to my articles that have been published so far on GPA’s website.

Finally, in the summer of 2014, I got an internship at The NephCure Foundation. It is a non-profit organization that brings awareness to kidney disease, especially FSGS and NS. I have been doing videos and video editing for them in the past couple of months. I also wrote an article and conducted a conversation with FSGS/NS patients about their lives in college with the disease. The article is not yet available online.

I was also published on Philadelphia Neighborhoods. I focused on Northwest Philadelphia. Below are some of my articles:

Volunteering:

I volunteered at the PSPCA in the summer of 2013. I mainly took care of the dogs as I am not a big fan of cats.

In May 2013, I was a volunteer photographer for two events held by the National MS Society. Check out my photos of the Philadelphia Museum of Art event (team and general photos) and Devon Horse Show and Country Fair event (team and general photos).
